Okay so I have been putting going to this so called restaurant for over a year. Since December 2005 to be exact. The food at Red Lobster is prepackaged. So basically it is made at some plant where they stuff it into bags. The "cook" gets it up in some water or whatever and serves it to you on a really hot plate. Okay that's why I don't eat there.
So SD has been bugging me to go there. Even after I tell him it is a waste of money, its packaged food and so on. They are doing all you can eat shrimp. So I said fine.
All you can eat shrimp was $17 so we ordered that each ice teas and a meal for the kids to split. I also got a sangera that had berry flavor to it. That was good. The food sucked. It had a taste of packaged food. SD finally realized that it was not worth the cost. The service is somewhat good but the food in my personal opinion is not worth it.
I do however, like the biscuts. I think they are the only thing still made in the store.
So long Red Lobster....
My husband has wanted to go to ANY seafood restaurant for the past 13 years but since I can't stand the sight or smell, the poor guy hasn't stepped foot in one since before he met me.
ReplyDeleteI am an employee of Red Lobster and i can fully assure you our food is not packaged. How do i know this you may ask? Im the one who prepares the food every morning at 8 a.m. on the prep line. If you really wanted to know the truth the biscuits that your so crazy about come already pre-mixed in bags all we do is add water. So maybe you should re-consider your assumptions. I can also assure you our endless shrimp scampi is made the morning of, and like wise for our tilapia in a bag, and our lobster pizza. Yes, our fish is already skinned for us, but is delivered to us raw, we also season it and cook it ourselves. Our cooks work there butts off on the line and get paid barely anything. Our servers are treated like slaves by you customers. Then to make things worse people say things that they dont know anything about.
