Works for me Wednesay - bulk baby carrots

Welcome to Works For Me Wednesday!
You can see other Works For Me Wednesday ideas over at We Are THAT Family

This week I am sharing my tip for bulk baby carrots.

At my local Costco they have 5 pounds of baby carrots for under $5. That is a pretty good deal. I think it is about .97 cents a pound.

I bring them home and divide them up, flash freeze and then add them to quart size bags so we have family size portions.

If you do not use baby carrots (some don't!) you could always buy bags of carrots and cut and peel them, works out just the same!

This is what works for me! What works for you?

  1. My family loves carrots. Unfortunately we are stationed in Japan so we can't buy the big bags from Costco. But the commissary does carry local Japanese carrots. They are huge and crunchy- my Hubby just loves them.
